It is important for celebrities to make good use of their huge influence to the public. Here are some great examples of celebrities that are passionate about our advocacy, education.

Obama invited her to the White House in 2010 to talk about early childhood development, and she was chosen to join the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics in 2011. She joined the Emergency Coalition for Global Education Action in 2014, contributing to the effort to send all children in the globe to school.

2. Justin Bieber

Since 2009, the organization has built 252 schools, and in 2013, Justin visited Guatemala to observe the project in action. Other than being idolized by many, he also has a good heart.

3. Selena Gomez

American actor and singer Selena, the youngest-ever UNICEF ambassador, paid a visit to Nepal in 2014. She observed students learning math and science at the Satbariya Rapti Secondary School and interacted with them in a "child club." Many of the kids she spoke with showed a desire to lead their society in the future, and she said it affected her to hear them stress the value of education. This shows her great support for having a great education system that provides quality and equality.

4. Taylor Swift

The top-grossing performer of 2014 relocated to the Big Apple in 2014 and donated all sales from her single Welcome to New York, released in October, to the city's public schools. Taylor is a helper by nature. She gave $4 million in 2012 to the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville to open the Taylor Swift Education Center. Additionally, in the same year, $60,000 was given to six US institutions' music departments.

5. Lebron James

After establishing the "I Promise" school in July 2018, James is now assisting other children in staying in school. James has gone above and beyond to ensure that the kids have access to the tools they need to succeed. The school has a food bank on-site and offers free lunches. It provides counseling, trauma recovery programs, free Chromebook laptops for kids to use for homework, and more.

The I Promise school provides GED education and job training programs to assist the parents of these youngsters as well. In this way, the children can receive more at-home mentoring, and the entire community can benefit.
